In this episode, Krang and Shredder plan to take over the Earth using accelerated global warming under their control. Shredder is having a grand old timeĀ until his mother shows up. Shredder&#39;s mom is the classic blend of a disappointed mother and a super villain. She constantly berates Shredder, much to Krang&#39;s amusement. Krang and Shredder nearly succeed in frying the Earth, but the Turtles manage to stop them in time with the help of their shuttle pilot, General Yogurt. I like this episode thanks to the comical introduction of Shredder&#39;s mom and the fact that the Turtles go to the Technodrome, but I feel like the episode had unfulfilled potential. Not once do they engage Shredder or Krang in combat, something I think would have fit well here. It was also a missed opportunity for humour - having Shredder&#39;s mom &#39;backseat-fight&#39; her son.
